In a unique and rare incident, a newlywed couple left their wedding venue and joined a protest rally being carried out against inflation in Nawabshah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Their families also accompanied them in the protest.

Both, Yasir (bridegroom) and Dr Sehrish (bride), chanted slogans against the high prices of flour, ghee, sugar and other essential commodities.

Besides, the couple also participated in the march against inflation, lack of security and economic crisis.

The march was being carried out under the leadership of Sindh United Party chief Syed Zain Shah.
