Armed man arrested as court hears Shehbaz Sharif's case
Three persons were arrested with arms from accountability and sessions courts separately on Tuesday as the hearing of a case against PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was under way, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Inspector Mubashar Awan said Syed Niaz Hussain, who had entered the premises of accountability court (AC) with arms when the court was hearing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif’s case, had arrived in Vigo car bearing number plate ADM-057 Islamabad.
He said that Hussain was being interrogated. “Nine Glock Pistols, five magazines and bullets were recovered from his possession,” the inspector elaborated.
He said that the man had managed to enter the court’s Red Area.
Similarly, two people were arrested from two session courts with arms.
Inspector Mubashar Awan said pistols and two magazines were recovered from each of them. “All the three suspects have been shifted to Islampura police station for questioning,” he informed.
