Two youngsters drowned in a canal in Sheikhupura on Monday while making a TikTok video.

The body of one of the victims was retrieved by the rescuers and shifted to the hospital. Search for the body of the other victim was under way on Monday evening.

Zeeshan, 17, and Sajid, 20, were making a TikTok video on their cell phones on Faisalabad Road in Sheikhupura when they slipped and fell into Bhikki Canal. They were residents of Raiwind, Lahore.

Many other people have met with fatal accidents in Pakistan making TikTok videos in recent days.

Last week a young boy was hit to death by a train when he was shooting a TikTok video very close to the railway track.
