PDM to use no-trust motion card at right time

A special sitting of the leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) could not reach a consensus on the no-trust motion, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
According to sources, the union of opposition parties was of the view that the government allies should be taken into confidence on the matter of bringing in the no-confidence motion.
They laid stress on doing homework properly before going for such a step, the insiders said adding that the PDM will use this card at the 'right time'. They pointed out the narrative of PDM is yet to be taken to the grassroots level.
The opposition leaders stressed the need for shaping up public opinion and taking up public issues like inflation, unemployment, and farmers’ problems, the sources said adding that the next meeting will take place after the compilation of the implementation report
Following the meeting, PDM head Fazlur Rehman told the media that the anti-inflation march would be held on March 23 at all costs. A few days ago, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed the alliance to change the date as foreign guests would also be present in the country for the OIC summit.
