According to 24News HD TV channel, Fawad held a joint press conference with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan and appraised Kashmiris for giving a historic victory to PTI. Fawad said the turnout was more than 56 percent in the recent elections in AJK.
Commenting over the defeat of the ruling PTI’s main rival, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz group (PML-N), he termed it a result of Mian Nawaz Sharif's meeting with a spy of the RAW, an Indian secret agency involved in conspiracies against Pakistan and Kashmiri people in Indian Occupied Kashmir has now come to light in AJK.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan in his social media message had congratulated the people of Kashmir, PTI workers for achieving historic victory in Kashmir elections. Fawad said the PM also said in his message that the results of a succession of PTI in AJK elections would go far as Kashmiris had ignited the movement in occupied Kashmir.
He confirmed that Imran Khan would finalize the names of the AJK Prime Minister and the Speaker. He said PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal should resign after such a poor performance in the AJK elections and give a chance to new leaders to run their parties.
The federal minister said a voice for seeking Indian help from the PML-N camp during the election campaign was shameful. He said Kashmiris rejected the narrative of Maryam Nawaz and election results in Kashmir was also a response of Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with Hamdullah Mohib who was an Indian Spy of the RAW.
Fawad said Imran Khan was the most popular leader in Pakistan who first time raised the Kashmir issue at the globe properly. He said the defeat of the Nawaz League in Kashmir was a result of Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with Jandal and invitation of Modi to Pakistan.
On this occasion, Gandapur said Imran Khan as an ambassador was fighting for Occupied Kashmir at all international platforms. To a query, Gandapur told the media that they couldn’t give a time frame for the announcement of the AJK prime minister and his cabinet. Fawad said it was also the last government of the People’s Party in Sindh province.
