Former Prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf rapped the ruling party for manipulating the AJK election, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

Such a step will affect the Kashmir cause adversely, the former premier said, adding that the ruling party is playing with fire in AJK 

Ali Muhammad Khan and Kamran Bangesh have pressurised the polling station admin in Peshawar, he said, adding that the PTI minister and lawmakers influenced votes to get desired results.

He alleged the national assembly deputy speaker paid visits to Quetta polling stations.  The federal government has manipulated the election and made the polling controversial, he said and raised the demand for completing the probe into the complaints the election commission received as the commission is responsible for holding free and fair polls.

He stressed transparent polls are a must for projecting Kashmir cause.
