Declaring that the terrorists supported by India (Fitna al-Hindustan) deserved nothing but a painful death, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Saturday that those challenging the writ of the state would be dealt with an iron hand, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Chairing a special meeting in Quetta on the law and order situation in Balochistan along with provincial Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, the interior minister said that the Center would continue to extend full support to the provincial government so that it could combat terrorism with full force. “Both the federal and provincial governments have now decided to further tighten the noose around terrorists,” Naqvi added.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Bugti said that the war against India-sponsored terrorists was not one to be fought by the security forces alone. “As a matter of fact, the whole nation has to fight against this menace.”

He further said that there was a complete understanding between all state institutions for the restoration of peace in the province. “The sacrifices given by the security forces as well as by the masses will not go in vain,” he said, adding, “The government will restore peace in Balochistan come what may.”

The action taken by security forces against Fitnatul Hindustan in different areas of the province came under discussion at the meeting.

The chief minister briefed the interior minister about the law and order situation in the province and the action being taken against the terrorists.

The meeting also discussed the difficulties being faced in the implementation of the provincial action plan.

Balochistan IGP, IG FC North, DIG CTD, DIG Special Branch, DG Levies and other senior officials attended the meeting.
