CM Maryam vows to improve Punjab’s infrastructure
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says roads, long ignored are being actively developed, marking a significant turnaround in the province’s infrastructure landscape.
Chairing a performance review meeting of Communication and Works Department in Lahore on Thursday, she first time in decades, meaningful attention has been paid to improving roads in the province. During the briefing, the Chief Minister was informed that construction of 1,214 roads, covering 12,000 km, has been completed.
The meeting also agreed to replace traditional toll contracting system with a new digital toll system across Punjab.
