In a major shake-up in the federal bureaucracy, the National Highway Authority (NHA) chairman is being replaced, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday, quoting sources.

The Establishment Division has forwarded several recommendations to Prime Minister’s Office for approval including proposing the name of Khurram Agha as the new chairman of the NHA.

Khurram Agha is the former chief secretary of Gilgit Baltistan.

Additional Secretary Establishment Division Owais Manzoor has been recommended for appointment as Additional Secretary Finance Division.

Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, who is Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Secretary, will replace Owais Manzoor as Additional Secretary Establishment Division.

The notification regarding these appointments will be issued after approval from the prime minister.
