Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub said Tuesday that he was not allowed to meet the party founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking to the media, Ayub said: "I have come to meet Imran Khan on the court's order, but the jail officials have not allowed me to meet the PTI founder."

"We will take up this matter on the floor of the National Assembly," he added.

Taking a dig at the incumbent government, Ayub said: "This government cannot run for a long period."

He assailed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah, saying, "Rana Sanaullah was facing drug charges. Even now, nobody has given a clean chit to him."
