IHC bars NAB from arresting Qaim Ali Shah

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stopped the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from arresting former Sindh chief minister Qaim Ali Shah till June 8, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The IHC on Wednesday heard the petition of PPP leader Qaim Ali Shah and granted him interim bail and barred the anti-graft watchdog from arresting the complainant till June 8.

The NAB accused Qaim Ali Shah of holding fake accounts and land grabbing.

Advocate Qasim Nawaz appeared before the court on behalf of Qaim Ali Shah. Reports said that Shah was granted interim bail against surety bonds of Rs200,000.

Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Babar Sattar of IHC heard the case.
