KP chief minister expresses condolences over Quetta terror attack

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi has sent a condolence letter to Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressing deep sorrow over the tragic terrorist incident in Quetta, Balochistan.

In his message, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister said he was deeply grieved over the loss of precious human lives and termed the incident “extremely heartbreaking,” particularly the martyrdom of innocent citizens and injuries sustained by several others.

He extended heartfelt sympathy and condolences from the people and government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the bereaved families affected by the attack.

Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and its people stand in complete solidarity with the people and government of Balochistan in this difficult time.

He further stated that terrorism remains a common threat to the peace and stability of the entire country.

Paying tribute, the chief minister said the people of Balochistan, along with police and security forces, have rendered unparalleled sacrifices in the ongoing struggle against terrorism, which will always be remembered with honour and respect.

He also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, patience for their families, and the swift and complete recovery of those injured in the incident.
