Orange Line Metro operational time increased from 7 am to 11pm

Amid the increasing demand for travel on the recently inaugurated Orange Line Metro Train Orange Line (OLMT) the authorities have increased its operational time till 11 pm instead of 8:30 pm, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The TV channel reported that the operational time of Orange Line Train has been increased by two and a half hours. Now the OLMT will be operated from 7am to 11pm.
The duration was 13 and a half hours per day but with revised operational time, the working hours of Orange Line Train will be 16 hours daily.
The Orange Line Metro Train comprises 26 stations and tracks spanning over 27.12km.This is the first electricity-run public transport project through which around 250,000 commuters will travel daily.
On October 25, OLMT project was inaugurated amid the government and the Pakistan Muslim League--Nawaz (PML-N) separate inaugural ceremonies.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at the inaugural ceremony attended by Chinese dignitaries said the OLMT was "a culmination of Pakistan-China friendship that began with the China - Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)".
