Three people including one woman and two children were killed while over 25 others were injured in a collision between two passenger coaches on the National Highway in Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The injured were taken to Civil Hospital, Khairpur where doctors said that the condition of four of them was critical. 

Police said the accident occurred when one of the coaches heading from Karachi to Punjab collided with the one coming from the opposite direction.

They explained that the incident took place due to poor visibility on account of rain and fog in the area. 

 Three killed in road mishap at Fateh Jang

A woman and her two kids, residents of Dhok Rai Neka area, were killed when a speeding car ran over a motorcycle at Fateh Jang tehsil of district Attock.

One of the critically injured was initially shifted to THQ Hospital, Fateh Jang and later to a hospital in Rawalpindi. 

According to reports, the woman and kids died immediately.
