Prince of Wales, Prince Charles Tuesday telephoned Prime Minister Imran Khan and appreciated Pakistan’s effort to tackle climate change.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the two leaders agreed to hold a conference in Glasgow and increase global cooperation on the issue of climate change.

The British High Commission said that Prince Charles discussed the situation in Afghanistan with the Pakistani PM and praised Pakistan's role in stabilizing Afghanistan and the region

The British High Commission also said, in the telephonic conversation, the two leaders agreed on the need for broader global cooperation on climate change.
