PM Shehbaz to embark on three-day visit to Saudi Arabia tomorrow

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will embark on a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia from tomorrow until October 29 at the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Sunday.

According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi, the Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with a delegation of senior cabinet ministers and officials.

During his visit, Shehbaz Sharif will participate in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9) conference in Riyadh.

The summit, themed “The Key to Prosperity: Unveiling the Frontiers of Growth”, will bring together global leaders, investors, and policymakers to explore new avenues of economic development and innovation.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to hold meetings with the Saudi leadership, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to discuss cooperation in various sectors such as trade, investment, energy, and human resource development.

Discussions will also cover key regional and international issues of mutual concern.

The Foreign Office stated that Prime Minister Sharif will also meet leaders of other participating countries and heads of international organisations on the sidelines of the conference.

These meetings are expected to highlight Pakistan’s investment potential and opportunities for sustainable growth.

The visit, according to the Foreign Office, reflects Pakistan’s continued focus on economic diplomacy and its commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships with key allies in the region.
