PM has cases in NAB so cannot elect its new chairman: PML-N
The opposition party, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Sunday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has cases in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) so he could not elect a new chairman of it.
According to the 24News HD TV Channel, the PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal told the media in Narowal that the NAB chairman should be elected in consultation with the opposition.
He said that the government wanted to target the opposition by bringing a favourite chairman in NAB and also returned to power through electronic fraud by using Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
The PML-N leader said Pakistan was currently facing an extraordinary diplomatic situation so an aggressive diplomatic strategy is needed now.
Ahsan said Imran Khan addressed online instead of going to the General Assembly of United Nations.
He said the government had failed to control inflation.
He said the country was ruled by comedians who come up with new jokes every day. He also claimed that some of the PTI ministers were contacting PML-N for tickets in the upcoming elections.
