Moin Khan backs Pakistan to clinch Asia Cup final against India

Former Pakistan captain Moin Khan has expressed hope about the national team’s chances in the upcoming Asia Cup final against India, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.  

Speaking to the media at Nishtar Park on Friday, he said Pakistan’s resilience after losing two matches gives hope that the team can bounce back and secure the trophy.

“As a sportsman, I always keep high expectations from the team. They just need to play unitedly and with full determination to lift the cup,” Moin remarked.

Stressing the importance of teamwork, he said that collective effort will be the key to success in a high-pressure final.

 Moin Khan highlighted his commitment to passing on experience to the younger generation. “Whatever I have learned from the game, I try to share with the new players. The youth of this country are passionate about cricket, and we have great expectations from them,” he said.

The former cricketer also addressed the need for merit and hard work in the sport.

“In cricket, there are no shortcuts or recommendations that can take you forward. Success only comes through dedication and effort,” he stressed.

He pointed out that Pakistan has produced renowned players who emerged from the streets and local grounds through sheer talent and perseverance.

“Our nation is full of talent. If youngsters work hard, they will surely get opportunities to shine, just like we did when we started out from the streets and went on to represent Pakistan,” he added.
