World leaders stage walkout during Netanyahu’s UN address

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was left visibly shaken as he addressed a nearly empty hall at the United Nations General Assembly after a dramatic walkout by numerous world leaders, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

Ahead of his speech, delegates from several countries, including representatives of Muslim countries and Palestinian officials, staged a mass boycott in protest against what they described as Israel’s ongoing atrocities in Gaza.

According to reports, as Netanyahu prepared to deliver his remarks, ministers and envoys from different states stood up and walked out of the chamber, leaving rows of vacant seats behind.

The Speaker of the Assembly repeatedly called for order and urged members to return to their places, but his appeals went unheeded.

The walkout was seen as a strong rebuke to Netanyahu’s government and its military actions, which many countries have condemned as disproportionate and inhumane.

Eyewitnesses said Netanyahu appeared stunned at the sight of the deserted hall, with only a handful of attendees present.

Observers described the moment as a symbolic rejection by the international community, reflecting growing global outrage over Israel’s policies toward Palestinians.
