Man burns wife alive in Faisalabad

A woman received serious burn wounds after her husband torched her by throwing petrol on her in Faisalabad due to a domestic dispute, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The incident took place in the village 219RB area of Faisalabad. The wife and her husband were identified as Aamir and Saira Bibi.
Soon after the incident, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the site and shifted the seriously injured woman to the burn unit of the hospital, but she breathed her last.
Later her body was shifted to the hospital’s mortuary. The husband of the victim woman fled away from the scene after committing the crime.
Police, after registering a case against the husband, started an operation to apprehend the culprit.
