Fans to enjoy Pashto commentary in PSL playoff matches

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has introduced Pashto-language commentary in the tournament’s history, in what officials described as a step to broaden regional engagement with cricket fans.

The initiative has been launched in collaboration with Peshawar Zalmi, and will feature Pashto commentary for the team’s remaining matches, broadcast via a digital platform, organisers said.

The move is aimed at connecting more closely with audiences in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pashto-speaking communities by making match coverage more accessible in a regional language.

Meanwhile, the playoff stage of the Pakistan Super League is underway, with Peshawar Zalmi set to face Islamabad United in the qualifier on Tuesday.
