A man has kidnapped his wife in Lahore’s Kahna area after his in-laws refused to send her with him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to the police, the woman Hira who had solemnized the nikah with the man but her rukhsati had not happened, file for khula.

The husband’s brother with the help of his two associates kidnapped the estranged wife from the Kahna area.

The nikah has been taken place a few months ago but then the woman, who is a student of BS Honours at a local university, filed for khula.

Man stabs niece to death

On the other hand, a young girl was stabbed to death by his uncle in the Mughalpura area of Lahore. 

According to City42 TV channel, the victim, Shamim Bibi, was on a visit to the house of her brother where her uncle was also present. She exchanged harsh words with her uncle, Fateh Khan, over some issue. Fateh Khan infuriated and stabbed her multiple time and fled the scene after committing the crime.

Later, Shamim, who had multiple wounds, was rushed to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The FIR lodged with the police says Shamim, 26, had contracted marriage with one Iqbal Khan around nine months ago.
