Two alleged robbers were killed Saturday when a citizen drove his car into their motorcycle as they were fleeing after robbing a shopkeeper in Mohammad Wala Police Station precinct in Lalian of Chiniot district, reported 24 News HD TV Channel.

According to the sources, three muggers riding a motorbike looted a mini petrol agency owner and escaped.

As they were fleeing after the robbery, a citizen chased the robbers in his car. When the robbers saw him chasing them, they opened fire on him. However, the car driver managed to escape and rammed his car into their motorbike and ran them over.

The three robbers fell down due to the collision with the citizen's car. They received serious injuries. Two of them were killed while taking them to the hospital while the third accomplice was handed over to the police.

The bodies of the bandits were taken to the THQs Hospital to fulfil medico-legal formalities.

The police reached the spot after receiving information and recovered snatched cash, a mobile phone, two pistols with loaded magazines, and a motorbike from them.
