Ambassador Blome went on to add that since the start of the pandemic his country had donated nearly $85 million to Pakistan. “Not only that, we also provided masks, protective goggles, ventilators and other related stuff to the country so that it could effectively combat spread of the virus,” he said, adding, “Most recently, the USA gave four mobile testing labs to Pakistan’s National Institute of Health (NIH).”
Towards the end, the ambassador expressed the resolve that America would continue to assist Pakistan in its fight against the coronavirus through the supply of vaccines and kits, and hoped that the dedication and commitment of Pakistan’s healthcare workers would supplement that assistance.
