Zoya Nasir walks down Deewangi lanes, showers love on Ali Abbas and Hajra Yamin
Zoya Nasir has taken a walk down memory lane as she paid glowing tribute to her co-stars for the compassion they showed while working together four years ago.
Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a nostalgic post, writing: “Four years ago… I might be Shumaila, but they all hold such a special place in my heart. Words can’t describe it, and grammar fails to explain it.”
Zoya tagged Ali Abbas, Areez Ahmed, Hajra Yamin and Zainab Shabbir in the post, further adding: “All I can say is, I love you guys so so so so much!”
The group of actors, including Ali Abbas and Hajra Yamin, were part of the drama serial Deewangi in 2019, where Zoya played Shumaila.
Zoya , daughter of renowned screenwriter Nasir Adeeb, stepped into the entertainment industry in 2019 with her acting debut in the television drama Hania, where she portrayed the character of Maham.
The role introduced her to mainstream audiences and showcased her ability to take on emotionally complex characters.

Later that year, she rose to prominence with her portrayal of Shumaila in Deewangi.
While Danish Taimoor and Hiba Bukhari were the drama’s lead pair, Zoya’s nuanced performance as a supportive friend left a mark on viewers.
Her tribute highlighted the friendships she formed on sets and underscored just how much the project meant to her.
Following Deewangi, Zoya appeared in Mere Apne, where she starred alongside Hajra Yamin and Ali Abbas once again.
