Salman Qureshi of the Journalist Panel won the seat of Senior Vice President in the annual election of Lahore Press Club on Sunday.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Shiraz Hasnat of Pioneers clinched the Treasure seat.

Salik Nawaz of the Journalist Panel bagged the seat of Joint Secretary.

A total of 71 candidates contested for 15 seats. More than 200O council members and 325 life members of Lahore Press Club exercised their right to vote to elect President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and Governing Body.

Zahid Chaudhry, Rai Hasnain Tahir, Mian Abid and Abdul Majeed Sajid were the candidates for secretary's seat.
