Maj (r) Adil Farooq Raja banned under anti-terrorism act

The federal government has imposed a ban on Maj (r) Adil Farooq Raja under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA), 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday. 

According to officials, the federal cabinet approved a circulation summary from the Interior Division recommending the restriction.

The ban has been imposed under Section 11(EE) of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.

The cabinet has directed that a report on the implementation of the ban be submitted to the Cabinet Division within seven days.
