Share prices plunge by 1,200 points in early trading
There was a panic-like situation at Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi as the market opened for business on Thursday.
The share prices fell like nine pins and the KSE-100 index lost over 1,200 points within hours of opening of the trade. The Index dropped below the 37,000 level.
Among under reasons, the coronavirus fears have apparently gripped the megacity.
