Mengal reaches Wadh PS to offer mass arrest of supporters after police register FIR against 1100 men

Balochistan National Party (BNP-M) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal reached Wadh Police Station along with a large number of people to offer mass arrest, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

Two weeks ago, Wadh Police registered cases against 1100 people including the son of Sardar Akhtar Mengal. Moreover, the members of Anjuman Tajran were also named in the FIR. 

Akhtar Mengal himself reached the police station to offer the arrest of his supporters. Talking to media, Akhtar Mengal said Wadh police have registered an FIR against 1100 people, including his son. 

He said FIRs have been registered against small shopkeepers of Wadh Bazaar for preventing illegal arrests by private security guards. Mengal said when police failed to protect the traders, people were compelled to hire private security for themselves and their property. 

He said local administration and the police were neither providing security nor leaving the traders to manage their own security. 

Mengal said when people did not allow the private security guards to be arrested by the cops, the police registered cases against 1100 people. He said names of people were included in the FIRs who were not known to the police.  

Sardar Akhtar Mengal said a ten-year-old child had also been named in the FIR. Earlier it was said that the FIRs will be withdrawn. He said FIRs contain provisions of terrorism against people. He feared that the CTD may not pick them up and make them disappear. He said it was better to arrest them than to go missing, so these people were brought to the police station. 

Akhtar Mengal said like Form 47 government, it seemed Form 47 administration has also come in the province. Mengal said his name was not in the FIR but his supporters had been named in the FIRs on someone's wish.
