Bad Bunny surprises Sydney waitress with generous tip during cafe visit

Global music sensation Bad Bunny has already made a lasting impression in Australia, not just on stage, but at a small Sydney cafe where a simple breakfast stop turned into a heartwarming moment for one lucky waitress.

According to the owners of The Rusty Rabbit in Darlinghurst, the Miami Florida superstar dropped in with his crew on Thursday morning while in town for his upcoming concerts.

Diners were surprised to see the chart-topping artist keeping things casual as he ordered a hearty breakfast of pancakes alongside steak and eggs.

However, it wasn’t just his menu choice that got people talking. The cafe later revealed on social media that the 31 year old singer left a generous US$100 tip for his waitress.

As if that wasn’t enough, he also gifted her a complimentary ticket to one of his Sydney shows as a thankyou for her service.

The cafe noted that having a Spanish speaking staff member made the interaction even more special.

Despite attempting to stay under the radar in a hoodie, cap, loose shorts and flip-flops, the Grammy winning artist was quickly recognised.

One fan, tipped off by a friend, rushed to the cafe hoping for a glimpse. According to the fan’s social media post, he thought he had missed the star, until Bad Bunny stepped outside.

The excited supporter called out to him, and the singer happily stopped for a handshake and photo before heading off in a waiting vehicle.

The Sydney visit comes ahead of Bad Bunny’s highly anticipated shows at the Sydney Showgrounds this weekend, marking his first ever performances in Australia.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the concerts, which are expected to draw massive crowds.

Adding to the buzz, Bad Bunny has also been spotted enjoying downtime in Sydney with on again partner Gabriela Berlingeri.

The pair were recently seen relaxing at Tamarama Beach, fueling renewed interest in their rekindled romance.
