Opposition Leader, Rana Sanaullah hold key meeting at Parliament House
Opposition Leader Mahmood Khan and senior government leader Rana Sanaullah held an important meeting at Parliament House following consultations within the opposition alliance, sources said.
The meeting, which took place at the Parliament House library, marked the first significant contact between the government and the opposition after recent alliance discussions.
According to sources, the two sides discussed the prevailing political situation in the country. The agenda for a potential meeting between the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the opposition leader also came under discussion.
Sources further said that the health of the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the ongoing negotiation process between the government and the opposition were also part of the talks.
Chief Whip Tariq Fazal Chaudhry was also present during the meeting, sources added.
