Punjab plans to improve governance by using AI in govt affairs
The Punjab government has developed a plan to improve governance by using artificial intelligence (AI) in government affairs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It was decided in an important meeting of P&D Board chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Tuesday.
Senior government officers also participated in Google AI workshop to enhance their skills about how to tackle day-to-day official work. CMO officers also participated in Google AI workshop for training.
The meeting was briefed on digital government and smart service delivery.
The meeting discussed AI tools for speed, transparency and effective decision-making in public services.
During the meeting, special presentation was given on e-governance, data analytics and automated systems.

Measures for implementing modern technology in government departments were considered in the meeting.
Modern technology will improve public facilities, the participants of the meeting were told.
