At least four people died and another injured when a car fell down bridge on people sleeping under it here on Friday.

According to details, an over speeding car got out of control while trying to save pedestrians and fell down from a bridge of Lyari Expressway near police check point at Meeran area in Karachi.

Four people sleeping under the bridge were crushed to death while another was critically injured. The car riders fortunately survived in the accident.

The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital and the police after registering a case into the incident have started an investigation.
