A girl and her alleged paramour were shot dead in a katchi abadi near a railway crossing in the limits of Factory Area police station of Faisalabad on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Later bodies of 28-year-old Ishfaq, girl’s alleged paramour, and 18-year-old Mehwish were shifted to the mortuary of Allied Hospital for the post-mortem.

Police said Mehwish’s body was found from the rooftop of her house while that of Ishfaq, who had allegedly travelled from Chichawatni to see the girl, from the courtyard of the house.

Police have started investigation to ascertain motive of the killings.

It said that family of the deceased Ishfaq back in Chichawatni had been informed of his death.
