PM commends Interior Minister for peaceful Ashura arrangements
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday lauded the Ministry of Interior, security institutions and law-enforcement agencies for maintaining peace and ensuring comprehensive security arrangements for Ashura processions and religious gatherings across the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
PM Shehbaz praised Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his team for making excellent arrangements and providing foolproof security during Ashura, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release in Islamabad.
He also commended the officers and personnel of the Pakistan Armed Forces, police and other security and law enforcement agencies for their dedicated efforts in ensuring a peaceful observance of the occasion.
He said, “By the grace of Allah Almighty, all Ashura-related activities concluded smoothly in an atmosphere of peace and order throughout the country.”
He further appreciated the provincial governments, as well as the governments of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, for ensuring effective arrangements during Ashura.
The prime minister also praised all the chief ministers, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and their respective cabinet members for implementing robust security measures and making commendable efforts to maintain law and order during Ashura.

I salute every officer and official who served with dedication, resilience, and an unshakable sense of duty. The nation is proud of you. Thank you for your exceptional service.”
