Another plane from China, carrying 50,000 testing kits for coronavirus, landed in Karachi on Friday to help the country fight the pandemic.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority, the latest consignment is the second batch of the donation made by the Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba.
On the other hand, another consignment of the necessary equipment reached Pakistan through the land route of Khunjerab Pass.
It is the highest land port in the world from where the supply was handed over to the Pakistani authorities after both sides removed snow from the road.
In a series of tweets, the Chinese embassy said, “China in Action: The Pakistani helicopters arrived at the Khunjerab Pass in the harsh weather condition!” https://twitter.com/CathayPak/status/1243440317015171072
“The Chinese side unloaded the medical supplies, waiting to meet the Pakistani brothers at the Khunjerab Pass,” it added.
