Taylor Swift's absence at 2025 AMAs red carpet disappoints fans
Worldwide recognized singer Taylor Swift has left fans disappointed after skipping the 2025 American Music Awards (AMA) red carpet, which was held at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. It was quite painful for fans to see her absence at the event without a win, despite being nominated six times.
Some Swifties thought she might use the opportunity to announce the release of Reputation (Taylor's Version). However, others hoped for at least her virtual appearance. She previously skipped an award show but joined that remotely.
One X (formerly Twitter) user playfully shared an empty post from the red carpet and joked, “Taylor Swift has arrived at #AMAs.”
Another fan shared a Mean Girls meme of Regina George screaming, captioned, “Me realising Taylor Swift isn't even showing up to the #AMAs.”
