Popular Pakistani actor and host Fahad Mustafa has landed at the centre of online debate after a viral clip from a recent promotional event sparked strong reactions from fans of Saba Qamar.
Fahad Mustafa recently appeared at a promotional meet-and-greet session for his upcoming film Zombied, where he participated in a fun interactive segment with the audience.
During the session, an audience member asked the actor: “If you were stuck in a zombie apocalypse with Saba Qamar, Mehwish Hayat, and Mahira Khan, who would you protect first?”
Responding humorously, Fahad Mustafa said: “Saba se meri zyada dosti nahi hai, to wo to race se out ho gayi.” (I am not very close friends with Saba, so she is out of the race.)
When someone from the audience immediately responded that Saba Qamar was their favorite, Fahad jokingly replied: “To tum le jao usay.” (Then you can take her.)
The actor further explained his choice by mentioning his long professional association with Mehwish Hayat.
He added: “Mehwish aur main bachpan se kaam kar rahe hain. She always says she was very young when we started working together, so naturally I would take her along.”
However, the clip quickly circulated across social media platforms, where many users came forward in support of Saba Qamar.
One social media user wrote: “They do not work with Saba in films because they know she earns international recognition.”
Another fan commented that Saba Qamar prefers meaningful female-centric projects and often chooses quality roles over commercial appearances.
