Petroleum prices likely to go down

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended a reduction in the price of petroleum products for the next 15 days, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel Thursday.

In its summary to the petroleum division, the OGRA has suggested a reduction of Rs2 per litre in the petrol and diesel prices for the last 15 days of April.

After the reduction, the new price of petrol will be Rs 108.35 per litre, whereas the price of diesel will be reduced to Rs 111.08 per litre.

OGRA in its summary has also proposed to maintain the petroleum levy and not to increase it for the next fifteen days of the current month.

The new prices will be announced this evening after the approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
