Islamabad police fired upon by drug dealers

A group of drug dealers allegedly attacked and opened fire on police raiding team of Golra police station in Islamabad on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, drug dealer Adnan Haider, who was under arrest, was injured in the alleged firing by his associates.

The Golra police team was on its way to recover drugs and arrest Adnan Haider’s associates on the tip-off of the arrested drug dealer.

Drug dealer's associates hiding in a house allegedly opened fire on the police raiding team.

Constable Abdul Shakoor was shot in the chest by drug dealers but the police official was safe due to his bulletproof vest.

Police raids are being conducted to arrest the accomplices of the drug dealer under custody of police.
