Rihanna will return with new music for the next Marvel sequel "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" after a six-year break.

The Barbadian singer and businesswoman, 34, revealed her affiliation with the movie on Twitter by revealing the lead track from the soundtrack, "Lift Me Up." Prior to the film's premiere on November 11, the song will be made available on October 28.

In collaboration with Roc Nation, Def Jam Recordings, and Hollywood Records, Rihanna is putting out the new single on her Westbury Road label.

The song is a remembrance of the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who played the starring role in the first "Black Panther" film and passed away in November 2020 at the age of 43 following a protracted fight with colon cancer.

Since her 2016 album "Anti," this is Rihanna's first new music work as a solo performer.
