Pile of logs charred by massive fire at Karachi warehouse

A pile of logs was charred when a massive fire broke out in a wood warehouse in Karachi which was brought under control after hectic efforts of 13 hours on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on.
The warehouse is located in Rais Goth near Hub River Road of Karachi.
A spokesman of Rescue 1122 said that the rescue operation was difficult because the hydrant was located at a distance.
The spokesman further said that the fire was extinguished on one side, but it intensified on the other. No loss of life was reported from the site of the fire.
Seven fire tenders, two browsers, and a snorkel took part in the rescue operation, which brought the fire under control. The cooling process is underway.
