FIA issues 13th Red Book of most-wanted human smugglers

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday issued the 13th Red Book containing the names and other details of the most-wanted human smugglers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

As many as 143 human smugglers are wanted by the FIA in connection with several cases registered at different anti-human trafficking circles of the Agency. 

As many as 14 human smugglers are wanted by the FIA Lahore Zone, 70 by Gujranwala Zone, 13 by Faisalabad Zone, and three by Multan Zone. 

Similarly, 25 human smugglers are wanted by the Islamabad Zone, 10 by the Karachi Zone, one each by the KP and Balochistan zones and six by Kohat Zone. 

The Red Book informs that 51 human smugglers, who were declared most-wanted in 2023, have been arrested so far. 

The Agency has constituted special teams to apprehend these human smugglers. 

Apart from that, their identity cards and passports have also been blocked, informs the Red Book.

Besides that, red notices have been issued for the arrest of human smugglers who have fled abroad.
