JI Chief urges Muslim countries to rise for Palestine and Kashmir

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman came down hard on Israel and its backer, the United States, labeling them both as terrorist states during an impassioned address at the National Palestine and Defense of Pakistan Conference held in Lahore.

“Wherever there is killing and destruction, America is there," he thundered, blaming Washington for wars, including the devastation in Afghanistan and the toppling of democracies worldwide.

Speaking to a fired-up crowd, Hafiz Naeem lamented that despite the Muslim world's massive resources — armies, tanks, missiles, even nuclear bombs — their leaders are more interested in pleasing Trump and clinging to power than standing up for Gaza and Kashmir.

“Our freedom and sovereignty are strangled by these snakes sitting atop us," he said sharply, calling for a global Islamic awakening. He declared that the struggles of Gaza and Kashmir are the two issues that can — and must — unite the Muslim Ummah.

Praising the Al-Qassam Brigades and Hamas, he said, "We salute those brave fighters who dealt a crushing blow to Israel." He mocked the Israeli army for "lacking the courage" to face Hamas directly, resorting instead to bombardments from afar.

Sending a fiery message to Pakistan's military and Muslim armies globally, Hafiz Naeem warned, “If you keep sleeping under the blanket of cowardice, not only Gaza but the entire region will fall prey to the dream of Greater Israel." He stressed that Pakistan must lead, standing as the guardian of the Muslim Ummah.

Quoting Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he reminded the audience that Pakistan’s founding father declared Israel an illegitimate state, and warned today’s rulers: "If you show sympathy to Israel, we will make you a sign of warning for history."

Hafiz Naeem also condemned India's collusion with Israel in oppressing Palestinians, accusing Indian forces of collaborating in the carnage under America's patronage. He echoed Yahya Sinwar's sentiments that the Gaza crisis has unmasked many, including those in India.

Rallying the nation for future battles, Hafiz Naeem called for unity against any water or military aggression on Kashmir, promising, "We will fight together, God willing."
