Sindh imposes 60-day ban on drones, quadcopters under Section 144

The Sindh Home Department has imposed a province-wide ban on quadcopters, drone cameras and helicams for 60 days to maintain law and order.

According to an official notification, the restriction has been enforced under Section 144, which prohibits the use and operation of drones across Sindh for the specified period.

The Home Department stated that the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety and prevent any potential security threats. Authorities warned that strict legal action will be taken against individuals found violating the ban.

Officials emphasized that the enforcement of Section 144 applies across the province, with law enforcement agencies directed to ensure full compliance.

The move comes amid heightened security concerns, with authorities aiming to curb unauthorized aerial surveillance and maintain stability in sensitive areas.
