Two more suspected mpox cases reported at Nishtar Hospital Multan

Two suspected cases of Mpox have been reported at Nishtar Hospital, Multan, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday. 

According to the administration, a 40-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were admitted to the hospital’s isolation ward after showing symptoms related to mpox.

Their test reports are currently pending, and health officials are awaiting laboratory results to confirm the infections.

Officials said the patients belonged to Multan and Muzaffargarh districts.

The male patient had recently returned to Muzaffargarh from Dubai.

The latest suspected cases come as five confirmed mpox patients are already under treatment at Nishtar Hospital.

Health authorities said precautionary measures are in place while awaiting confirmation of the new cases.
