Asia Cup opening match: Nepal team reach Multan

The Nepalese team Sunday reached Multan from Karachi evening to take on hosts Pakistan in the opening match of the Asia Cup on August 30, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The team reached Multan airport and left for the hotel in tight security.
The Nepalese team was welcomed by wearing Saraiki Ajarak on their arrival in Multan from Karachi.
A traditional sweet dish of Multan “Sohan Halwa” was served to the Nepalese team.
Rohit Kumar Paudal is leading the guest team while Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, Bhim Sharki, Kushal Malla, Aarif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Gulshan Jha, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane, Lalit Rajbanshi, Pratish GC, Mousom Dhakal, Sundeep Jora, Kishore Mahato and Arjun Saud are included in the team.
Pakistan team already reached Multan. A practice session was held at the stadium on 28 and 29 August. Both teams will practice at Multan Sports Ground tomorrow at 1 pm.
