Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Monday met at Bilawal House Nodero, Larkana and agreed to take Pakistan Democratic Movement with a mutually formulated strategy for upcoming PDM activities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Both leaders discussed the political situation in the country and termed December 27 gathering at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh a successful one.

Maryam Nawaz has also been apprised about the ministerial committee report facts about the abduction of her husband retired captain Muhammad Safdar.

The TV channel reported Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani and Sindh Spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab were also present in the meeting.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif has agreed upon the actions taken by the Sindh government in Safdar’s arrest incident, the TV channel reported.

PML-N Vice President extended an invitation to PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Asifa Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur to visit Jati Umrah, Raiwind that was accepted by the PPP leadership while the final date of the visit will be announced later.

The TV channel reported Maryam Nawaz Sharif will reach back to Islamabad today (Monday).

It is pertinent to note that PDM leadership in their speeches on the eve of the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, once again targeted Prime Minister Imran Khan and termed his ‘selected’ giving him January 31 deadline to resign otherwise the opposition alliance will go for Long March.

Earlier Maryam Nawaz tweeted that “I really like this Sindhi gesticulation Folded hands. Folding hands denotes humility and gratitude. Exactly how I feel receiving love and affection in plenitude.”

While Bilawal Bhutto Zardari thanked PDM leadership, “We are grateful to the PDM leadership for joining us on our most important and emotional day to mourn and remember Shaheed BB.”
