International Faiz Mela under the banner of Shahar-e-Adab Lahore will be held next year on February 11 to 13.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, a special consultation meeting regarding the festival was held on Tuesday that was chaired by Lahore Commissioner Captain (Retired) Muhammad.

The meeting was attended by Chairperson Al-Hamra Board Muniza Hashmi, well-known actor Adeel Hashmi, Program Director Sara Qureshi and others.

In the meeting, it was briefed that the Faiz Ahmad Faiz Mela is being organized from 11 to 13 February 2022 and literary personalities from other countries will also participate in it.

The commissioner directed to complete the preparations for Faiz Mela in a coordinated manner because it will be a milestone in the literary activities in Lahore.

The commissioner said revolutionary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz is also the international face of our literature. He said Faiz Mela will be full of poetry and literary activities.
