Heavy fog affects flight operations at Lahore Airport

Flight operations at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore have been severely affected by heavy fog on Thursday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Due to heavy fog, ten affected domestic and international flights have been diverted to other airports.

As per schedule PK-9761 will land at Islamabad International Airport instead of Lahore while the flight from Lahore to Madinah and Dubai will also take off from Islamabad Airport.

The schedule of flights at Allama Iqbal International Airport has been affected due to heavy fog in Lahore. Due to fog, nine domestic and international flights have been delayed including flights to Riyadh, Jeddah, Toronto and Dubai while five incoming flights to Lahore could not land.

Airlines have been issued a warning about the weather and pilots have been alerted to observe caution while landing.
